Launching U.S. based wellness brand dosist in Canada posed a fundamental challenge. Recreational cannabis in plant form will be legal in 2018, but the brand’s therapeutic cannabis oil-based products won’t. And cannabis advertising is regulated as heavily as tobacco, meaning no product, branding, or health claims. We flipped the script on traditional brand launches with Not Available In Canada: a campaign designed to make Canadians care about a wellness tool they can’t have.
