El Tabador Campaign
This tiny freedom fighting luchador helped put a friendlier (and funnier) face on a much-maligned Canadian industry. El Tabador served as the spokesperson for everything from the Koodo Tab to celebrating that they were crowned Canada’s most recommended mobile company in a number of integrated quarterly campaigns.
My partner and I had the pleasure to be the lead creative team on this account for 2 years over the course of 2013 and 2014.

A Merry Mariachi Holiday
Instead of adding to the clutter of holiday offers, Koodo wanted to do something different to stand out during the season. So we gave them a little gift in the form of an El Tabador holiday album, all for free.
The campaign included free CD samplers, an interactive TSA (a Canadian first), posters, and a Cineplex TimePlay game that drove to an online destination that let fans grab the album for free, send E-Carols to friends, or sing along to some Merry-oke.
The campaign was initiated and supported on Facebook where we hosted the album, e-carols, ringtones and sing-along videos.
Fans could also send their loved ones personalized holiday E-Carols from El Tabador.
